Members Plus

Join Members Plus and you help us create world-class art experiences for everyone, right here in Aotearoa New Zealand.

Member events
From lectures to parties: Member events cater to everyone. All events are exclusive to Members unless stated otherwise. If you have a guest pass, you can book an extra ticket for a friend.
Managing your membership and benefits
You can opt to auto-renew when purchasing a membership. If you tick the auto-renew box, you authorise Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki to renew your membership automatically.
You will be notified by email at least 14 days prior to auto-renewal. If you change your mind, you can cancel up to 3 working days before the auto-renewal date.
If you don’t choose to auto-renew, we’ll send you an email reminder shortly before your membership expires with a payment link to renew. You can also renew your membership at any information desk when visiting the Gallery.
If you’d like to hear from us, opt-in to our mailing list when signing up. If you are not receiving emails from us, but think you should be, contact us at membership@aucklandartgallery.com or +64 9 870 6173. You can subscribe to our fortnightly Members newsletter, periodical Young Members newsletter, or both.
When you become a Member, you can choose between receiving printed or digital copies of our magazine, Art Toi. If you would like to change your subscription, or have opted in for print but are not receiving your magazine, please email us on membership@aucklandartgallery.com.
Please email us at membership@aucklandartgallery.com to update your contact information, including postal address. Please include your membership card number and full name, plus the information you need updated.
A guest pass lets you bring a friend with you to all exhibitions and secure an extra ticket to Member events (exclusions apply).
You can add a guest pass to your 1-year membership for $70 or to your 3-year membership for $210 when you sign up online. You can also purchase a guest pass at the front desk during your next visit to the Gallery. The guest pass is valid for the duration of your membership and is loaded onto your membership card.
Guests may visit only when accompanied by a Member with a valid guest pass. Bookings may be required for some events or exhibitions.
When you purchase a gift membership, you can select a start date for up to 90 days in the future. The membership will be active from the date selected. A welcome email will be sent to the recipient on this date.
You can include a personal message when purchasing a gift membership online. This message and your name will be featured in the welcome email.
Membership cards
Email membership@aucklandartgallery.com, and we will arrange a new card for you. Once you receive a new card, your old one will no longer work.
We do not send new membership cards when you renew, so please email us if you need a new card.
You can find basic information, such as your membership number and expiry date in your welcome and renewal emails. Your membership number is different from your membership card number.
If you have a physical membership card, the number is located under the barcode on the back of the card.

If you have a digital card, the number is located under the QR code in the corresponding email.

Membership is non-transferable, and membership cards cannot be shared. Please purchase a guest pass if you would like to bring a friend to exhibitions or Members events.
Payments and donations
Your membership fee is not tax-deductible. Any donation you make to Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki over $5 is tax-deductible, and we will automatically send you a tax receipt. You can make a donation through the donate page or by emailing us at membership@aucklandartgallery.com.
Credit card payments are made through a secure server to keep your details safe. Payments are made in New Zealand dollars. We accept Visa and Mastercard. For security reasons, we do not accept credit card payments via email or phone.
Membership fees are non-refundable.
